Riane, Kyle and I leave for Urumqi in approximately 2.5 hours. We had planned to take the subway to the train station, but I (magnet for trouble that I am) fell out of the shower this morning and am now grievously injured. I've probably torn something in one of my thighs and can now not really lift things, which is unfortunate as I've got a huge backpack to be carrying with me. It'll all work out.
Somehow.
I hope.
We really have no idea what we're getting ourselves in to, but we should be arriving in Urumqi on Tuesday around 4 pm. We hope. I'll let you know how that goes.
